“I had my new Bosch furnace and Ultra Cold Climate Heat pump installed with Kappler about 3 months ago. I have 2 Ecobee thermostats and 3 dampers with integrated control board (Arzel) which complicate things and is very unique system to encounter. I had the option to change out the thermostats, dampers and control board on the new install but I understood how they worked and it made the changeover a little cheaper so I kept them. So when the install happened the team from Kappler had to come up to speed with my system and make sure the Bosch system integrated. Keep those manuals friends! Always on time, always courteous and clean, always making sure I was in the loop… great install. Everything seemed to be good.
As you know we have mild weather until the last weekend so I was surprised when my furnace / heat pump wasn't heating upstairs during the cold snap. I still had heating downstairs but the upstairs was getting colder so I reached out to Kappler on Sunday and got an answering service. They said they would pass on the message and maybe Kappler would be back to me sometime later in the week – no emergency so I was ok with that.
Monday morning I get a call to schedule a visit Monday 2-4. Ruben was my service tech. He was bang on time. Then I debriefed him on my system setup with all the intricacies. He worked logically through the system understood where he needed to focus. Again. smart, polite, respectful and very detailed as you would like your techs to be. Took a while but he went above and beyond to get to the right resolution. My system did throw a curve ball and another senior tech arrived to go over the logic etc and then they both took me through what they had found and how the system was now working albeit in a very specific Arzel way!
Just can't praise them enough. If you have elderly people to look out for, Kappler are the people that you want to fix their systems. If you have young homeowners who need help then Kappler are the guys that you need to trust for their HVAC problems. If you have complicated systems then I would go with Kappler, trust me, I know!”
